The latest #Nioh3 patch has been released! Version 1.06.00 is now available for download, bringing several balance adjustments and improved rewards for the Stone of Penance. @TeamNINJAStudio Around 2010 my older cousin let me play on his Xbox while he was gone. One of the games he had was Ninja Gaiden 2. I remember never being able to get past Genshin in Chapter 2.

When you were first introduced to #NINJAGAIDEN, what genre of game did you think it was back then?

@hangakutenkasu That feeling when you realize blocking is only meant for you to get out of danger rather than standing knee deep in it thinking everything would be just fine.

@TeamNINJAStudio Even when facing a fierce onslaught from multiple opponents, if you just stand there and block, they’ll hit you with throws. This gave the game the feel of a fighting game where you’re up against a crowd. That was the shock I felt when playing the Xbox demo of NINJA GAIDEN.

@TeamNINJAStudio 雷速忍者アクション NINJA GAIDEN Literally the only "Hack-and-Slash" game I can play. It has rewired my brain completely to the point where it is the golden standard for how video games should be. Thank you, Team NINJA. I am eternally grateful for this awesome series.

@TeamNINJAStudio "Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos" on the #NES. I was far too young and dumb to know what the word "genre" was/meant lol. Just intelligent enough to know the game was fun but very hard, as I could never get past the second level back then...

@TeamNINJAStudio I don't think I knew of the OGs until I got the full game of NG for Xbox. I'd say a "run and slash" genre instead of a "run and gun" 😂
