Breonna Taylor was senselessly killed 6 years ago today when police entered her Louisville, Kentucky, home and shot her eight times. We #HonorWithAction by continuing to demand an end to systemic racism in policing, accountability, and reform.

Members of our Youth Advocacy Training Programs are hard at work in states across the country! This week, we had our first full day of meetings with lawmakers in FL, and last week, youth changemakers in Virginia advocated for no guns on campuses.

Team ENOUGH members are meeting with lawmakers in states across the country to talk about life-saving solutions to gun violence. This week, we had 40+ youth advocates come out to talk with lawmakers in Colorado, and last week we had a great turnout in Oregon!

Trayvon Martin was shot & killed when he was just 17. Today, he would have turned 31. Too many Black boys don't get to grow up because of the lethal combination of racism, easy access to guns, and a shoot-first mentality. We must do more to protect young people like Trayvon.

This week, Virginia took an important step toward preventing gun violence! Bills to strengthen secure storage, keep campuses gun-free, stop ghost guns, and ban sales of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines all passed out of committee — because we refused to give up.

Hadiya Pendleton was tragically shot & killed 13 years ago today. She was only 15, but the impact she made on her friends, family, and community is one that will never be forgotten. We work every single day to ensure young people like Hadiya can thrive—NOT fear for their lives.

Take action now! We cannot give ICE billions to continue its unchecked violence. Tell Senators to reject this funding.

5 young people were shot after a fight on a bus in D.C. Thursday. Easy access to guns too often turns a simple argument deadly. But we can't forget there is hope: Violent crime in DC dropped 29% in 2025, and in 2024 it was at its lowest in 30+ years. bit.ly/45mYNdO

This past weekend, Team ENOUGH helped lead the "Youth Working to End Gun Violence" retreat with the Michigan Episcopal Diocese. The multi-day workshop was attended by leaders from youth ministries in several different states who want to make their communities safer.

Not even a broken-down bus can stop us! We were determined to get to the VA State Capitol for the annual MLK gun violence prevention lobby day, and we did! There are a number of critical bills up for consideration, and we're working hard to get them across the finish line.
