@Meergrad_ @J_Alexander_HS I think this might be a bit of a self-serving categorization problem - there *are* tribal packages that have slotted into other decks in cool ways, but they aren’t what you think of first - for example, the underbelly angler package that control shaman ran in rise of shadows.

@J_Alexander_HS I guess I just dislike tribal decks in general for that reason. The mech/murloc/dragon/elemental synergy oftentimes requires you to run a full deck of said tribe for the most part.

Let’s talk a bit about the package design of cards. Packages of cards are those designed to work with each other, but not necessarily any other cards. For instance, the mech tribal cards tend to be good with other mechs specifically, but very few other cards in general

@MBTYuGiOh I have a distinct but compatible take: The only difference between “stun” and every other deck that currently exists is whether they plan to stop all your plays and kill you immediately, or stop all your plays and kill you a few turns later

“stun” is a completely valid win condition in ygo, and a lot of the decks we pretend are epically based are functionally identical to stun decks anyway

@MBTYuGiOh People should totally stop being so lazy but idk about “no way” - if you’re an insane person who wants to throw a bunch of money at your new channel you could definitely pay an editor an acceptable amount. (Caveat: I am under no illusions that this ever actually happens)

i keep seeing new yugitubers day ONE asking around for editors. don’t do that shit. learn to edit. cutting footage is a skill that takes two hours to learn, MAX. there’s no way you can enter into an agreeable relationship with an editor from a position of zero subs
