You know what I’ve been thinking about? There are far more racist people in this country than I ever realized. I have been blown away watching people celebrate the death of a White teenage boy simply because the person who killed him was Black. This teenager was not on drugs. He was not a troublemaker. He had never committed a crime. He played sports, made good grades, respected his parents, and was loved by so many people. Yet some people have found joy in his death because they care more about race than right and wrong. That is not justice. That is racism, hatred, and pure evil. A teenage boy lost his life. Anyone celebrating that should be ashamed.

I don’t care who gets upset by this: President Trump, thank you for something bigger than politics. Thank you for waking up every single day at 79 years old and carrying a weight most people could never handle. Thank you for the missed meals, lost family time, sleepless nights, constant travel, nonstop attacks, and the relentless pressure of leading a nation that always demands more. Thank you for getting back up every single time they tried to tear you down. For enduring the lies, the betrayal, the lawfare, and the hatred that would have broken almost anyone else. Thank you for giving up comfort, privacy, peace, and the life you had already earned — to sit in one of the hardest jobs in the world and fight for this country. You didn’t have to do any of this. You already had the wealth, success, and freedom. You could have walked away. Instead, you chose sacrifice. You chose responsibility. You chose America. We see you. We appreciate you. And we thank you. God bless you. God protect you. And may He continue to give you the strength to carry what most people could never carry.

I would also like us all to consider that while It is true that some have forgotten or abused the religious freedom guaranteed by our country, it is up to those of us who have a personal relationship with God to set an example for others to the best of our ability and demonstrate to the world God’s Love through our actions, words, and lives.
