The misogynistic comments by former Pride Branch chair Heath Wilson, referring to Moira Deeming as a b*tch, and Louise Staley’s classless post with Lily Allen’s “F You” song, both cheering her defeat yesterday, will face no repercussions. The same group of people who thought they could chuck @MoiraDeemingMP out for standing up for women’s sex-based rights, smeared Sam Groth with despicable insinuations about his family, and threw farmer Susanne Marro under the bus in an attempt to knock Bev McArthur out through damage by association-in an ongoing campaign of leaking by “anonymous senior Liberal sources.” The Liberal parliamentary team has few serious policy heavyweights in its ranks, and it will fail to attract talent while it continues to bludgeon its factional opponents in the media. The Victorian Labor Party is bad, but the Liberals won’t be competitive against them until they get their house in order. I have seen stuff posted on whatsapp groups and here on X - people claiming to have some disgusting communication between me and my son about young women. They are (obviously) not true.
