@RokerReport They cant remove any of the nominated now as in the public domain. As much as a success Jill Scott has had in her career (and rightly so) a small part of it was at SAFC , I would say that about Defoe too. They should stay but a further 6 real legends could/should be added.

This should have been a really brilliant thing but it feels tainted slightly by the inclusion of certain people over others more deserving. Can only hope that this is rectified somehow, as otherwise it’ll feel like a real missed opportunity to honour real #SAFC legends properly.

@ALS_Fanzine Not suprised he is getting suitors, same with 3 or 4 more of our players. If a club like Bayern come knocking its hard to refuse. But it also means that top price can be negotiated and looking in the £60/£65m region , obviously dont want him to be sold. But that fee is massive.

@ALS_Fanzine Reidys team we had some great days , great players and we really ruffled a few feathers when we came up in 99. Its still early days with this RLB group , but I think this lot is better, not on the eye for goals but more effective tactically and technically better footballers.

If you were lucky/old enough to experience both, is this current RLB SAFC side better than the Peter Reid team with Quinn and Phillips?
