The incident is said to have occurred on Friday, 24th April 2026, around the Akinyale area of Ibadan, and the officers involved are reportedly attached to the Akinyale Area Kara Police Station. We call on the relevant security authorities and government agencies to urgently investigate the incident, ensure due process is followed, and hold any officers found culpable accountable in line with the law.
