LA Knight is on line 1. This line of “earn your spot” is so much BS. How does it make the rest of the lockerroom feel. Gunther is getting ZERO reactions these days yet he is still getting a match on Summerslam. You telling me Bron Breaker doesn’t deserve a spot at the top. I mean I said it all the time if creative wanted to make me a 16 time world champion they could’ve made me a 16 time world champion. This nonsense of they need to earn it. You need to create storylines and give them a chance to get in there and earn it and not just assume well you’re not more over than Cody so this doesn’t make a lot of sense. Then help them get more over than Cody. That’s why you gotta have these young guys that are coming up to fill these spots. You’ve got over now I need two or three more young dudes in their 20s.

I mean not ALL of night 1. Just MOST of it. Lol. I love doing the watch along too so we can predict and discuss. It’s what separates us. But I will NOT be in the creative room without @THEVinceRusso. Lol.

Good lord been saying it for weeks. Fatal Influence should be the #1 most pushed females in WWE. My lord does Jacy Jane SCREAM heel. The music is spot on. Who would have thought they would be the most ready call ups from NXT. And I don’t think it’s close. I am pushing Jacy Jane and Dirty Dom as my two top heels.

But that would have gone against the tradition. You can’t have him win when Cole says it would be the most embarrassing thing of his career. This is what we talk about on the show all the time this would’ve been a great opportunity for them to go against the grain and have Nic win. And then since you haven’t done anything with Gunther in eight months, you can start having him go through a period where he’s like have I lost it? Am I not as great as I thought I was or as they thought I was. This does nothing for that and did you guys hear the crowd. There was no reaction to Gunther winning. All kinds of reaction to Nick. This is why we gotta start booking things differently. It wouldn’t have hurt anybody to have. Nick win and would’ve opened up so many avenues

Awesome to see Mickie James in the ring. It feels like this is a one and done. It feels like his in ring is over. Who knows? But these are the moments that are great. The sacrifice and the time never stops. Well done Nick.

This is the match i am most looking forward to. Nick Aldis is real. His story is real. He looks amazing. This could be the start of a new star in WWE. I hope he is booked great.

Says something that LA Knight got the cover. And I am a HUGE fan of this new Solo. Keep this going and also they need to push Royce Keys. He has the look at the build. Just not the push yet. What does it say about the bloodline if they have 3 random talents beat the “cohesive unit”. I hope it’s to set up some tough love from Roman after Summerslam which would mean he would actually be around on the shows which we all want.

Man it is clear as a bell who is the most OVER of those 6. If I am LA Knight I continue to say “the reason I am not pushed is what?” This guys is A entertaining as they come. And Solo is right behind on the push meter

Really solid 1st match to kick off the night by LIV and Iyo Sky. I liked using the Judgment Day a little bit but still allowed her to have a great finishing sequence.

Okay here we go. Summerslam night 1. Start with Liv and Iyo Ky. And pointing out right away first title defense since April. Hearing rumors they are going with Oba and Brock for the main event. If they do that it says a lot about the finish and also where they think Punk/Cody is. Will be fascinating. This event carries alot for me. I turned heel at Summerslam 2003. Will tonight be the night for Cody to do that.

Jorge there is a way you do GREAT radio. I was taught by the very best and I would hope that those doing wrestling on radio remember this saying that I live by when I do radio: “I want 1/2 the audience to love me. 1/2 the audience to hate me. 100% of the audience to listen” If you aren’t doing this with your radio show or podcast then you are doing a disservice to the audience listening.
