JUST DROPPED 🎙️ I watched Louis Theroux’s new Netflix documentary 'Inside the Manosphere' and it was painful to sit through. It highlighted exactly what authentic masculinity is not. The wounded, insecure and narcissistic men it featured depicted a destructive and distorted version of masculinity, reducing manhood to dominance, status and control. Why are these men the way they are? And why are millions of young men following this distorted version of manhood? It was a special honour to receive a Panache Men of Valour Award this weekend, for the work we do equipping men to live with positive masculinity, be excellent fathers and stand against GBV. Wonderful to stand in a room surrounded by Men of Valour, my co-recipients. Thank you to Hilary Leong for the nomination, and to Farzana Mayet and the Panache team for creating something so meaningful - recognising men who live lives in service of others.  There are so many good men out there who deserve the same recognition. Men who work hard to love and support their loved ones no matter how hard it gets.  I couldn’t do any of this without my lovely wife, @womanwithsword. Her faith, her love, her strength, her support… from the beginning she saw things in me that I didn’t see.  To the men out there quietly doing the work… you matter. Your life matters.
