I hit my head one time and it made my pupil go wonky and I was dazed and out of it. So out of it I wasn't aware enough to stick up for myself. But I went to the ER and they performed a freaking eye exam on me, told me how I shouldn't have came in. And then prescribe me flu medicine??? I didn't have the flu and at the time wasn't flu season. I felt so defeated honestly I just went home. Took me a week or two to feel back to normal. Still a lil off. I'm just gonna put them on blast. Prisma Urgent Care. I had a previous bad experience there when I was hospitalized for pneumonia they didn't let the needle try and injected me with firey hot alcohol. And then caught an attitude with me when I said something. Too many are just in it for the paycheck and don't have what it takes to care about somebody. @theprismahealth

When someone tells you they're a nurse, bump up your estimation on the probability that they're a total piece of shit.
Diary of Abandonment@thequeenofrust

Today is day four of sitting bedside with my father. He’s stable. He’s going to be OK. But the truth is, had I not made the call to EMS and gotten him out of the rehab facility he was in, he may not still be with us. He fell and broke both his arm and ankle and needed rehab due to limited mobility. His arm surgery was major. Fifty-two stitches from shoulder to elbow. Because of that, proper wound care was critical. It wasn’t happening. While he was there, he developed an infection. When I visited Monday, his arm was bandaged, so I had no idea how bad it truly was. Then I learned he had a fever and wasn’t eating or drinking. I went back Tuesday. This time I asked to see the wound. What I saw is the gnarliest infection I’ve ever seen in my life. I took pictures. He told me they weren’t changing the bandages often enough, and some days they weren’t changing them at all. His bed linens and gown were dirty. I kept telling staff that with an open infection like that, he cannot be lying on dirty sheets. I took more pictures. That’s when I made the decision to call EMS and get him out of there and into the ER. Thankfully, the ER doctor acted immediately. Two IV antibiotics. A full round of tests. He’s having surgery today to reopen the arm, clean out the infection, and remove the hardware. In six weeks, he’ll need another surgery to reconstruct the bone, because the infection prevented proper healing. By some miracle, he wasn’t septic yet. If I showed you the deformity that infection caused to his arm, you’d lose your lunch. Moral of the story: Be an advocate for your loved ones. In hospitals. In nursing homes. In rehab facilities. Ask questions. Look closely. Speak up. Trust your gut. We are also filing a formal complaint with the state. I’m beyond grateful I listened to that inner voice. It might have saved my dad’s life.

@theprismahealth @theprismahealth When I called the Tiger Blvd location to question this charge, I was told the office manager said he was not entitled to a refund. I was told “they did some stuff” to him. No simple strep test but “some stuff” that justifies charging my son an office visit.

@theprismahealth @theprismahealth I’m very disappointed with our experience at Prisma Health Urgent Care in Clemson on Tiger Blvd this week. My son was in the middle of what was a very long process of checking in when he had a seizure in the waiting area.

I wonder how many work at D.E.I. infested @theprismahealth??? My wife had extensive scabs on both arms from nursing care at Greenville Memorial MICU (hospital bracelet rubbed against arm from BP cuff). They could have placed the bracelet on her ankle, but what do I know?? She also had an almost broken right thumb and a fingernail broken at the quick from where they "proned" her. We will never go to Prisma health again.

Investigation uncovers fake nursing diplomas and transcripts scandal in America “Over 7,600 diplomas were distributed for nursing jobs across the United States. Operation Nightingale was the operation to uncover the scheme that created fake diplomas and transcripts for aspiring nurses, many from India In 2023, 30 defendants were charged and convicted in this scam, and 12 more have just been charged for selling these fraudulent nursing diplomas and transcripts. No word on how many of these fake nurses are currently working in the US, but authorities have flagged individuals and databases for review by state nursing boards all over the country. Many of these reviews are ongoing, while patients are still being treated ostensibly by potentially unqualified nurses. It looks like cases are still being reviewed in states like Connecticut, Delaware, Washington, Texas, and California.”

When your on site employees can't answer the phone, answer simple billing questions, deflect, get defensive when asked seriously questions about fraudulent billing at your 'free clinic' , you have some explaining to do not only to tax payers, patients, but the DOJ. I imagine you are committing as much fraud as any of the folks in Minnesota or other states. So we gonna find out why @theprismahealth takes in indigent folks at your clinics, does NOT send any billing , late notices, ECT., but sends an inflated fraudulent bill to a collection company not even 90 days after the date of service. I advocate the needy, you have ramped up your fraud . Looks like you are using folks personal information to secure loans, grants, ECT while you try to bill the indigent for funds you know they do not have. So yes, many more cases will be forwarded to state and federal agencies and I imagine several thousand more lawsuits against you will be filed shortly. Crooks must be like Bernie Madoff and never get out of a prison cell.
