Also slightly nice to be vindicated after Hacker News comments told me:
- It's the 'perfect tool' for phishing sites
- GDS don't want non-gov services using the design system
- GDS don't allow JS frameworks
- GDS will tell me off for using 'GOV.UK' in the name

In 2009 I published a Twitter guide that helped 100s of public sector bodies launch their official accounts. In 2024 my [personal] advice is: LEAVE X asap in anti-racist solidarity. Close your accounts in unison. Make your reasons known in no uncertain terms.

Today, I finally removed my last Ring security device and cancelled the monthly subscription! Eufy all the way from now on. Great kit (much better resolution than Ring)! Annoyingly, some software functionality is missing but nothing critical!
