Born Again just doesn't allow their characters to have any sense of intimacy, not a single scene is allowed to breathe, the audience isn't allowed to linger. The show just moves at rapid pace to hit all plot beats and forgets the character substance that made Netflix DD great ->

The whole point of Luke as a character is he’s meant to transcend his masters… the climax of his arc in the Original Trilogy is where he ignores them and acts on his own convictions. Him going from that to having ended up adopting all of their negative aspects was BAD.

The lows of Daredevil s2 (The Hand, who are always lame anyway) do not sink anywhere near as low as the lows of Born Again s1 & 2 but the highs of Daredevil s2 (literally everything besides The Hand) absolutely mog the ever living fuck out of the highs of Born Again s1 & 2
