Today we’re remembering Damon Harris on his birthday. 🎶 Damon joined The Temptations when he was just twenty years old and brought a voice that became part of one of the group’s most unforgettable chapters.

Live on ‘The Hollywood Palace’ in 1968, this performance captures a voice, a story, and a Temptations classic that still stops us in our tracks. 🎶 Did David predict the weather in your area today? 🌧️

They could do just about anything: turning a gray sky blue, making it rain whenever they wanted it to, and building a castle from a single grain of sand… But they still couldn’t get next to you. 🎶

Their suits were sharp, but their moves were even sharper! The Temptations brought their signature moves to ‘Swingin’ Time’ in 1966 with a performance of “Get Ready” that was so electric, the crowd couldn’t help but join in with them.🕺🏿

This unreleased Temptations track never made it onto an official album, but it’s still a special piece of Temptations history. Can you guess it? 🎶

The Temptations wrapped up their episode of ‘227’ in the best way possible–with a performance of their classic hit, “Get Ready.” 🎶 And with a little help from Mary Jenkins and Sandra Clark, of course!
