❗️At night, 🇺🇦Ukrainian forces struck a 🇷🇺Russian base in occupied Henichesk (Arabat Spit), Kherson region, with six attack UAVs. A large-scale fire broke out at the facility.

Moscow and Moscow region suffered perhaps the largest combined attack overnight. Over 500 drones were launched across Russia, with over 100 targeting the capital region. Major targets hit included Moscow oil refinery, Elma technology park in Zelenograd specializing in microelectronics, and Solnechnogorskaya fuel station near Zelenograd. Possible hit at Sheremetyevo airport with all four main airports implementing "Carpet" plan, halting flights. Residential areas in Khimki, Mytishchi, Krasnogorsk and other locations suffered damage from drone hits or air defense debris, with at least 3 civilians killed and many wounded.

❗️A powerful fire continues at the 🇷🇺Solnechnogorsk oil transshipment station in the Moscow region following a nighttime and morning attack by 🇺🇦Ukrainian drones.

❗️Retaliatory Strike on the Russians: This time, Ukrainian long-range “sanctions” have reached the Moscow region, where the largest concentration of the enemy’s air defenses is located. ❗️During the nights of May 16–17, 🇺🇦SBS units (“Birds of Magyar”, NEMESIS, Raid, Kairos, and others) carried out 186 strikes on 46 targets in the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions. Main targets hit: • Project 10410 patrol ship in Kaspiysk • Tor-M2 air defense system near Zakhidne (Luhansk region) • Strategic communications node of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Myrny (Crimea) • Fuel train in Fedorivka • Port cranes in Berdyansk • Command posts, warehouses, officer assemblies, and telecommunications towers

❗️Strike 🇺🇦drones attacked the Elma scientific and production complex in the city of 🇷🇺Zelenograd, Moscow Oblast — ASTRA.

Our responses to Russia’s prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war. Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work. I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine and all the Defense Forces of Ukraine for their precision. The distance from Ukraine’s state border is over 500 km. The concentration of Russian air defense in the Moscow region is the highest. But we are overcoming it. Glory to Ukraine!

For the first time, Ukraine has managed to hit the Moscow oil refinery, the most protected facility in the country - multiple strikes.
