Ranger Suarez's final line against the Blue Jays: 8 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 10 K. In three of his starts, Suarez has gone at least six innings and allowed zero runs. In the other three, he didn't finish five innings and allowed exactly four runs. Overall: 3.09 ERA.

(Update: Chad Tracy said John Soteropulos is the lead hitting coach. Nonetheless, it’s a bit of a group effort. Soteropulos and Hetzler worked together at Driveline together for a few years before both got into pro ball.)

The Red Sox list Collin Hetzler as the (interim) hitting coach, by the way. So he seems to be the lead for that group. He had been in that role with Triple-A Worcester. John Soteropulos is still the assistant hitting coach, his first season in that job.
