Russian special services have operated and continue to operate through the Telegram messenger in Ukraine. We are aware of this, we detect it, and we counter it. As for Ukraine, we also operate through Telegram in Russia. Now, due to restrictions on Telegram in Russia, it will be more difficult to convey signals to their society, but nevertheless, the work will continue. I received a report on their new network – Max. We will also get to Max. Restrictions on social media and mobile communications in Russia are being introduced to establish total control. We understand what Putin is building, or has almost built already. But this is a step backward – a step 100 years back. They might as well switch to paper mail, telegraphs, and horses soon. That wasn’t a presentation. That was proof. Bravo.

Right now, there are 201 Ukrainians in the Middle East and the Gulf region. And another 34 are ready to deploy. These are military experts, experts who know how to help, how to defend against “shahed” drones. Our teams are already in the Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and on the way to Kuwait. We are working with several other countries – agreements are already in place. We do not want this terror of the Iranian regime against its neighbors to succeed. And I sent these military experts at the request of our partners – including the United States. In fact, this is part of the Drone Deal we proposed to the United States, which we worked on together and which is still on the table. And we are ready to offer similar deals to all our reliable partners – from practical cooperation on drones to future defense alliances. And I don’t think anyone would want to leave Ukraine’s war-proven strength and capability outside their security. If someone does, it wouldn't be wise. The United Kingdom sees these opportunities clearly – our agreements are always solid, and I’m glad that today we have signed a declaration with the Prime Minister. Thank you very much, Keir. I met with Ukrainian service members who are training at the European F-16 Training Center in Romania. We spoke with the cadets about specifics and conditions of their training program. We also discussed the challenges our pilots face and how the state can help address them. At the center, our guys undergo different stages of training, including theory and real sorties. The first Ukrainian pilots began their program there in 2024, and some of them already carry out combat missions to repel Russian aggression. I thank Romania, the instructors at the center, and everyone who is helping us defend ourselves and counter Russian terror. We will always be grateful to the United States for the opportunity to strengthen the protection of our sky with American fighter jets, as well as to Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway, which have already transferred aircraft to Ukraine.

I am grateful to everyone working to protect Ukraine and to all who support our defense. We are working as hard as possible to enhance the protection of our sky. Bolstering Ukrainian Air Force means a greater ability to deter Russian aggression and to provide more security for Ukraine and all of Europe. I thank the United States and every country that helps protect lives!

Ukraine warned about this. Russia turned the war into a weapons lab and became an exporter of warfare. First Iran supplied drones. Now Russia teaches Iran its proven tactics. Appeasing Russia was never going to stop it. The threat was always global

Russia provides assistance to the Iranian regime. We know what has been provided so far, although the exact volumes of such a help not full known. The good thing is that the Iranian regime does not seem to be able to provide Russia with missiles and some other weapons which they use in attacks against Ukraine. However, the focus had shifted to the Middle East. I hope the war will not be long, not only because I’m worried about Ukraine but also because every human life lost or destroyed is a tragedy. Meanwhile, we don't see progress in peace negotiations. If a lasting peace or a ceasefire are not negotiated during the first days of the conflict, there is a big risk of its prolongation. This will definitely have influence on the situation in Ukraine. Less focus means less support. Less support means less air defence.

I thank all our artists and creators, everyone who finds, finds within themselves the strength and inspiration – for the apt words, inspiring melodies, paintings, and shots. Those who create the Ukrainian. Who bring forth the new and preserve the heritage of the past. Who speak through the language of art about what is so close today to each of us, every Ukrainian. About everything that inspires us, everything that pains us, everything we have been through, and most importantly – about the hope that today runs through every work, every song, book, and performance. The fact that we did not give up this hope and won this spring is the shared achievement of each and every one – our military, our people who work for the state, and everyone who preserves Ukrainian identity within themselves and in their children. We have things to be proud of. We have people to be proud of. And the Shevchenko Prize proves this. Every year it takes place despite the war, despite everything. And despite everything, every year there are new deserving laureates. This award has not become a formality, and in every sense of the word it is growing – there are more nominations, more remarkable works, more reasons to be proud of our art and our creators. I said this during the ceremony honoring the Shevchenko Prize laureates.

💔 Hordiy played hockey. Russia killed him and his mother Olena, a school teacher in Kharkiv. His team, Bilyi Bars, remembers him as “a sincere, kind, open boy who loved hockey, his team, and training.” But sport is out of politics, right?
