60 Minutes investigates how some trucking fleets are racking up safety violations and shifting from one company to another to evade federal enforcement and erase a bad safety record. Known as “chameleon carriers,” these companies are four times more likely to be involved in a severe crash, according to the risk assessment firm Fusable. cbsn.ws/4dFjeaL

60 Minutes reached out to Super Ego Holding. Company lawyers said it is a leasing company, not a trucking firm, and not responsible for affiliated carriers or drivers. But 60 Minutes found that’s not the whole story. cbsn.ws/4vpUBVL

“They promise you the world. They say you can make $8,000 to $10,000 to $12,000 a week,” says Daniel Sanchez, who was a driver for Super Ego under a lease-to-own contract. He says the company didn’t deliver on those promises.

This is actually crazy Woman was at Costco buying some blueberry beagles, she looks at the ingredients and is shocked The ingredients say the blueberries are “simulated blueberries” “There's no blueberries in this bagel. They simulated blueberries. Basically just sugar cornstarch corn syrup to make fake blueberries to put in these bagels.” They are completely artificial pieces designed to look, feel, and taste vaguely like blueberries. The label even lists them separately They do this because real blueberries are more expensive, have shorter shelf life and can vary in quality Our good is a science experiment in America Even when you think you’re being healthier, you’re not

In the heart of Guerrero Negro, Mexico, a young adventurer named Landon pulled into a dusty gas station on his motorcycle and crossed paths with a stranger who would quietly rewrite his future. Two years earlier, while fueling up, Landon struck up a conversation with Michael. As they parted ways, Michael handed him a card and said, “If you ever ride through Rocky Point in Sonora, give me a call. I own a resort—you’re welcome to stay.” Landon tucked the card away and kept riding. Two years later, his journey finally led him to Rocky Point. With a mix of curiosity and hesitation, he called the number: “Hey, do you remember me? The biker from the gas station two years ago?” Michael instantly replied, “Yes! Come on through!” What happened next left Landon speechless. Michael welcomed him with open arms, offering a limitless stay at his stunning resort, Laguna Shores. He introduced him to his private chef, invited him to five-star dinners with his family, and treated him like royalty—pure, unexpected generosity from a man he’d met only once, years before. A single random conversation at a gas station blossomed into a beautiful friendship and an unforgettable experience. Sometimes, the smallest moments plant seeds that bear fruit exactly when they’re meant to.

This woman was getting gas at the local gas station. She put her card in and pressed 87 for the $2.85 a gallon gas. After she pumped she noticed she only got 17 gallons and it charged her $78 instead of $48. She went in and said something to the attendant that it charged her too much, he claims that she must have pressed premium 93 by mistake and even printed out the receipt that showed she pumped 93. She’s convinced that she’s being scammed and the pump automatically switched to 93 because either by the attendant or a malfunction in the machine because she knows she pressed the button for 87. When they went out and he demoed it for her, it worked as it should have but he also handed her a $20. So did she really accidentally pressed 93 or did he give her the money because he knows he was caught?

This man was pumping gas at the gas station, as it approached 16 gallons of gas he knew he was going to reach what he wanted to pay. So when it went over 16 he was surprised and tried to stop the pump. He hit the release tab on the pump handle and it does nothing. It still pumps. It’s now approaching 24 gallons and he knows it’s going to flood and overflow his tank. Sure enough, as soon as he hit 24, gas spilled out onto the concrete. He panics and runs to hit the emergency shut off on the building. It cuts off power to the pumps and cuts out the lights. Did he wait way too long to shut it off or at least notify someone, what would you have done?
