I can’t believe it’s been a year, what a wonderful day it was, from hanging out at the hotel she generously paid us for, then waiting for her to perform, then watching my friends getting some love from her, from seeing her listening carefully to each of our stories, being interested in how our day was leading up to that moment.
Starting with meeting her team(Minus Tonya who was bummed she couldn’t make it) each of them so nice and welcoming, showing their appreciation for my work over the years, Sitting down to chat with her for a bit, to reminisce about times we previously talked, some of us met or just got a special message from her being sent to us or even a mutual interest and knowing the same people.
Every second felt like eternity and timeless as well. it was only half an hour that felt like 1 minute.
When it was finally time for her to leave, she just didn’t want to go, she wanted to stay and talk, but she had a flight to catch so we stayed there together until she “really need to gooooo” as David said😂
From meeting her nice friends who i regret not being able to talk to a bit more, i was in such a head rush, when she signalled me to come sit next to her, we all sat down around her and she showed us some private and precious moments on her phone 🥹
The best day of my life? maybe. it sure felt like my heart was full to the brim.
I can proudly say, I Met Sia.
