We are social creatures. We hear someone giggle & we start laughing. We see someone blush & we blush with them. Guess what else is powerful...speaking your truth! When you speak up, you encourage others to speak up as well.

Have you ever been silent about an issue that was important to you? I know I have. I let fear keep me quiet about things that I was screaming about on the inside. My mission is to never stay silent about the things that matter to me...

Speak your truth...don't hold it close and quiet. It's ok if it starts with a whisper as long as you speak it. Speak up and speak out.

Society wants women, people of color, people outside the gender norm, LGBTQ+ people...and anyone else patriarchy deems as not worthy to be heard...to stay silent. But we are done with that- yes we are!

Sometimes speaking up and believing in yourself feels like a huge risk. I know! You can do this- your voice, your story, your passions are worth believing in and taking risks for! You've got this! @sherylsandberg said it best!

One thing I learned on my vacation to Germany- too many people remained silent in the face of great evil. Silence often gives power to those doing wrong. How many atrocities in history would have been stopped if more people had spoken up instead of remaining silent?

Guess what sis...you don't need to shrink yourself. Don't shrink your voice. Don't shrink your body. Don't shrink your opinions. Take up space, make noise, make waves, & have opinions. Own your power!

Sometimes silence is powerful. It can be a powerful way of agreeing & upholding the norm. It can be a powerful dissent as you hold space for thought and pondering. Maybe your silence means you are listening and working to understand others.

Silence is not always golden. Sometimes silence is lying about about you really want. Don't let your silence make you a liar. Speak up about the issues that matter to you!

Stay noisy!!! Have you ever been told that you are too loud, too passionate, too joyful, too noisy, too curious? Yeah- me too! I was often rebuked by the elders in my church for being too curious and saying too much. NOT ANYMORE!!!!

Dear women everywhere...here is my love letter to you ❣️ Say what you REALLY think! Stop trying to be nice. Your feelings matter. Your opinions matter. Your viewpoints matter. So speak up sis!

The most important voice to raise the volume of is that voice inside yourself. Are you listening to your voice? What is it saying? .

Free your voice and free yourself.. Help someone else to free their voice and allow them to free themselves. My greatest joy is helping others to free their voice. Do you need help freeing yours? .

Your voice is unique. You have a unique perspective, a unique story, and a unique way of engaging with the world around you.
