Stinks for Irvin, but he’s been super durable and hopefully this is just a minor strain.
Will be interesting to see how they manage his spot in the rotation. Have to think Alvarez gets a shot, but how does that change the calculus with Littell?

Also, Seaver King has now reached base in all 40 games he’s played this year. Recently promoted to AAA. Hitting the ball hard, as he was in AA.

Jackson Kent’s first AAA start: 5 IP, 3 H, 2 R (0 ER), 1 BB, 4 K. Fastball sat 93.7, topped out at 95.1 mph with pretty good location. 7 whiffs on the changeup. Org has been high on him for a while, and recently adding velo is a plus. On the ascent.
