🇺🇸MAGIC MUSHROOM USE RISES IN U.S. WITH MILLIONS REPORTING USE A new federal survey estimates about 8 million Americans used psilocybin in the past year. People who had experienced depression were more likely to report using the drug, even after adjustments. Use was most common among younger, higher-income men and often overlapped with cannabis and other drugs. Researchers say doctors should screen for psilocybin use, especially in patients with depression.
