We all agree that Soros is an anti-American billionaire, and the reference that I might be part of a Soros-Trojan horse is very insulting. And at the very least it is comedy gold. Thanks for that. Saying Adam is part of the Soros universe is like saying you are part of the Soros universe because you are using a platform that Soros has invested in. (You are publishing your video on Youtube, in which Soros holds a stake. Why are you supporting a Soros-funded media platform? Are you affiliated with George Soros?) Here are the facts. While politically, I adamantly disagree with the person who runs Civera, we do agree on the importance of transparency in elections. Isn’t that our goal? As Macomb County Clerk, I have implemented maximum transparency of election ballots, the very thing real election integrity advocates have been demanding for years. If you have something better - bring it! This platform: - Displays ballot images and vote records side-by-side - Allows full public review after the election - Does not count votes or run elections - Gives zero control to any outside organization The data being used isn’t new, hidden, or controlled. It’s the same public information that has been available through FOIA since 2021. The only difference now is that it’s easier for citizens to actually access and review it from home. Calling this “election control” is like calling a security camera a bank robber. It doesn’t make sense, and it doesn’t hold up. This is not election infrastructure. This is a transparency layer. And if someone is attacking transparency, the question isn’t about the tool, it’s about why they don’t want the public to see what’s already been available. I saw the work @tonyforlini1 did in the Michigan House when I worked there. I've spoken to him during this race and I've seen the folks getting behind him. I think he's our best shot for winning in November. We need someone with a track record of delivering results.
