WOW. A student at @TorreyPinesHS was suspended for putting up a poster at school which said "We❤️ICE. From real Americans." The school claims putting up these posters "incites pupils to create a clear and present danger" and produces a "hostile learning environment." This same school held an anti-ICE walkout last month. How many students were suspended for that @TorreyPinesHS? You can contact the principal here: robert.coppo@sduhsd.net

🙏🇺🇸🙏 Desmond Doss refused to carry a weapon in war. They called him a coward. Then he saved 75 men alone under fire. He was 23, a medic from Virginia who believed in saving lives, not taking them. Other soldiers mocked him, beat him, and tried to get him discharged. Officers pushed for court martial. They said he did not belong in combat. Then came Okinawa. Hacksaw Ridge. A 400 foot cliff turned into chaos as machine gun fire cut down advancing troops. Soldiers fell within seconds. Retreat was ordered. Doss stayed. Alone, he ran into the battlefield under constant fire. Wounded men were everywhere. Bleeding, calling for help, left behind. He dragged them to the edge, tied a rope, and lowered them down the cliff. Again and again. 75 times. Each time he went back, he whispered, "Lord, let me get one more." A grenade landed near him. He kicked it away. Another exploded and injured him. He treated himself and kept moving. Later, a sniper shattered his arm. Still, he refused to stop. He kept saving lives until his body gave out. In 1945, Desmond Doss received the Medal of Honor. The same soldiers who once called him coward now owed him their lives. He lived until 2006, but most people only know his story because of a movie. 75 men went home because one man refused to carry a weapon. Most people will never understand what that really means 🙏🇺🇸🙏
