Preparations are underway in Windsor and parts of London ahead of the arrival of Nigeria’s President for a state visit to the United Kingdom. Sections of the high street have been lined with Nigeria’s green white green flags, as anticipation builds for the visit. There were rehearsals earlier, including a band performance and a ceremonial parade featuring mounted units, uniformed personnel, and police officers positioned along the route. Such displays are typical of British state visits, where a Guard of Honour, military bands, and the Household Cavalry form part of the formal welcome for visiting heads of state. President TINUBU, accompanied by the First Lady is expected to arrive couple of hours from now

PRESS RELEASE: Renaissance inaugurates flare reduction project, increases gas output Port Harcourt, Nigeria, December 07, 2025// - Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited has inaugurated its Southern Swamp Associated Gas Solutions (SSAGS) Project in Delta State, injecting approximately 100 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMScf/d gas) to the domestic market and about 820 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe), in a successful implementation of the company’s strategy for ending routine flaring in its Tunu Node operations and boosting industrialisation. When used for electricity, 100 million standard cubic feet of natural gas will power about 6,700 Nigerian households for one year, with an expected ripple effect that benefits businesses, creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs across different phases of the gas supply chain. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Renaissance, Mr. @TonyAttah described the inauguration as “a milestone that marks a significant achievement in our commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions and advancing associated gas utilisation. It highlights our vision to ensure energy security and industrialisation in the nation delivered through our core values of Collaboration, Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Performance”. Attah said, “The SSAGS project was initiated to provide Associated Gas Gathering (AGG) infrastructure to eliminate routine flaring from the Tunu producing nodes comprising our operations in Opukushi, Benisede, Ogbotobo and Tunu, for power generation, industrial use, and economic growth. Renaissance is very proud to deliver this strategically significant project that will generate jobs and prosperity in the Nigerian economy.” The project is within oil mining leases 35 and 46 fields, located in the coastal swamp region, south of Warri, and establishes anchor infrastructure necessary for future development of substantial discovered and undiscovered potential within the node, currently estimated at about 820 million barrels of oil equivalent. “This project is more than infrastructure — it is a symbol of innovation, resilience, and collaboration,” Attah said, adding that the project was the first under the Renaissance identity “but given this company’s antecedents and our vision, this is just the beginning.” According to Attah, the project was a further demonstration of the commitment of Renaissance to its Nigeria content development goal. “Over 90% of the work was done in-country, leading to upskilling of Nigerian expertise and community content development,” he said. Speaking on the significance of the project to environmental performance of Renaissance, the company’s Chief Production Officer, Mr. Mesh Maichibi, noted the SSAGS project would route all production into four flow stations in Tunu, Ogbotobo, Benisede, and Opukushi, and evacuate oil via the Trans Ramos Pipeline to the Forcados Export Terminal, thereby providing Nigeria with the latest success story in the country’s commitment to ending flaring in oil and gas operations. Maichibi added: “The project will sustain the domestic gas network with over 30% contribution, creating huge value to Nigeria and Renaissance's domestic gas aspiration. The gas is predominantly designed for domestic gas utilisation, with a normal export route delivered to the Escravos–Lagos Pipeline System (ELPS), with an alternative route to the Nigeria LNG in Bonny for continuous oil production without flaring in the event of the DomGas export route (ELPS) unavailability.” Speaking on behalf of the SSAGS host communities, the Amanana-Owei of Egbemo-Anagalabiri domain, King Jacob Isreal Monday Ogbolo, commended the success of the project, applauding the employment opportunities that it is providing for members of the host communities. “Anytime we come in here, we see indigenes of host communities and non-indigenes working together peacefully.”

Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited has always believed that energy alone does not power a nation, people do. Their hopes, their health, and their ability to live full, meaningful lives. On Tuesday, November 25, this belief was brought to life once again as @renaissance_afr reaffirmed its commitment to advancing cancer care in Nigeria. During a courtesy visit to the Coordinating Minister for Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, the Renaissance JV announced a $300,000 donation to sustain radiotherapy services at the National Hospital, Abuja. This contribution funds a two-year service-level agreement for the maintenance of the hospital’s radiotherapy machine, ensuring it remains functional, reliable, and ready to save lives every single day. #RenaissanceAfrica #PoweringLives

Renaissance takes energy security advocacy to Ibadan varsity …MD earns Excellence Award IBADAN, Nigeria, November 23, 2025 – @Renaissance_Afr Company Limited has taken its energy security and industrialisation advocacy to the University of Ibadan with a commitment to education, youth empowerment, and community development. Speaking on Friday at the university’s alumni homecoming event, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Renaissance, @TonyAttah , hinged the economic emancipation and growth of Nigeria on the eradication of energy poverty and the embrace of sustainability, leveraging the country’s vast oil and gas resources. Attah, who delivered the university’s Distinguished Alumni Lecture titled: ‘Energy, Security and Economic Sustainability: The Role of Nigeria’s Oil and Gas Sector in National Development,’ described energy and economic growth as inseparable, noting that with energy security comes economic opportunities with the potential to transform the lives of millions of Nigerians. According to Attah, Renaissance as a company was a child of necessity that has come to the Nigerian energy space to lead the path that would put the country at the centre of African development and industrialisation. “With Renaissance, it’s a new beginning in Nigeria and we are focused on just what we need to do to rally the necessary support from private and government stakeholders to frontally address energy poverty that has plagued us for decades,” Attah said. Attah was earlier received at the Faculty of Technology by the Dean, Professor Isaac Bamgboye, and other principal officers of the faculty. The homecoming event witnessed the inauguration of a state-of-the-art synthetic mini football pitch donated by Renaissance and its joint venture partners – NNPC Limited, TotalEnergies and Agip Energy and Natural Resources. Attah described the pitch, named ‘Renaissance JV Arena’, as a lasting “symbol of excellence, vision, and commitment to youth and community development within the university,” by the joint venture partners. On a personal level, Attah sponsored the renovation of the university’s Independence Hall reading rooms where he had spent some time as a young undergraduate. He also teamed up to support the ‘Light Up U.I. Project’, a solar-powered streetlights scheme donated by the Renaissance U.I. Alumni. One of the highlights of the Friday event was the conferment of an Award of Excellence on Attah, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the oil and gas industry, leadership in sustainable energy development, and commitment to education and community empowerment. It was a pleasure to host the executives of Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited @Renaissance_Afr, led by the Managing Director/CEO, Mr @TonyAttah, at @EnergyReformsNG Office yesterday. We discussed their recent takeover of SPDC JV Assets following the successful divestment approved by President Tinubu last year. They shared the progress made in operating these assets, enabled by ongoing reforms and improved security in the Niger delta, as well as their impressive growth plans. Our priorities are fully aligned: sustained production growth, accelerated gas development, inclusive community engagement, and the expansion of local content and capacity. We have put in a lot of work to deliver policy reforms and fiscal incentives to create an enabling environment for operators, and we are delighted to see the positive outcomes. The future is very promising, as we work together to deliver key ongoing and planned projects that will move us closer to the national goal of 4 million bpd of oil production, and 10 billion cubic feet (bcf) of gas production, by 2030. We will continue to engage with operators and support them to scale up their investments in Nigeria’s energy sector, in line with the President’s Renewed Hope agenda.
