Tooele Technical College kicked off their COE reaffirmation of accreditation visit with a meet and greet fiesta! Heavy Duty Diesel Technician student Guadalupe S and her mariachi band the Academia Mis Raices De Allan Moreno provided exciting entertainment for the event.

How do you score a new career as a diesel technician? Trevor T, who is a talented soccer player, has learned that you can't score a goal if you don't take the shot. He's confidently taking his shot with the driveline lab in the diesel tech shop at Tooele Technical College.

We celebrated our Students of the Year last night at the Tooele Technical College Student Champions Gala. Derek Darcy was named the Tooele Technical College Student of the Year and will represent the college at various events during 2023.

Tooele Tech was awarded $1,000 grant for the student food pantry from Walmart’s Local Community Grants program. The money will help stock the pantry with non-perishable food basics and snacks. We want to thank our local Walmart store for supporting our college.

Hispanic Heritage Month (HHM) is time to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Latino community. #tooeletech, #HispanicHeritageMonth

Tooele Tech is participating in Rail Safety week. Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) instructor Tim Booth presented about rail safety and driver safety. Vern Kessler from Utah Operation Lifesaver was in attendance. #tooeletech, #railsafety

The Heavy Duty Diesel Technician parent night for our new high school students has a great turnout. We have good information, great food, and amazing employer partners at our event!

Tooele Tech’s Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program participated in the The Great Salt Lake Truck Show at Thanksgiving Point. This event helps the state recognize the importance of trucking and how it affects our way of life. #CDL

Congratulations to Josie J. from our Welding program for a 1st place finish at Skills USA! Tooele Tech competed for the 1st time this year at Skills USA. This state championship is an opportunity to highlight the trades and compete against the other technical colleges.
