Moniepoint is putting ₦3 billion into building Innovation Hubs at OAU, UNN and ABU where students can learn software engineering, AI, robotics, product design and entrepreneurship with direct industry support. A lot of conversations about Nigeria’s digital economy focus on startups and funding, but only a few talk about the real foundation which is the talent pipeline. The engineers, designers and builders coming out of our universities. Also important that this isn’t concentrated in Lagos. OAU, UNN and ABU gives regional spread and access across the country. Tosin Eniolorunda deserves credit for this.
