A personal message from Tranmere Rovers Chairman, Mark Palios: It is with great sadness that I heard the news of Peter Johnson’s passing.  I always have said that Peter was a great businessman who saved Tranmere Rovers and not only gave the Club its best years but also a future. He quietly and without fuss gave back so much to the community in which he was brought up. But to me, more than all that , he became a friend whose support and humour kept me going through difficult times. RIP Peter.

We can't carry on like this any longer. I really wanted Dawes to succeed but this is an unacceptable start to the season

On Saturday myself and Paul Ryan will be visiting the Isle of Man to watch the North West Counties 1st Division South match between FC Isle of Man & Cammell Laird 1907 @ The King George V Bowl. I have visited the Bowl quite a few times to watch Tranmere Rovers.
