@streetsforall @_KennyUong_ It is just like the fact that the paid @ExpressLanes are the WORST paved lanes on the entire 10 freeway for the #LACounty segment. @CaltransDist7 doesn't know how to page a freeway, and still LA County won't put barriers up for safety from toll evaders jumping in front of cars.

I mean, you just had a massive wildfire last year in Pacific Palisades, and the Eaton fire; you have more extreme weather now than you did five years ago, even more so. We haven’t even talked about the E word yet, the earthquake that’s pending. Traffic that takes two hours to get anywhere and then the cost of living and the cost of gas is a combination of inflation. It’s a disastrous scenario.

@bozzycube @californiapost It is more expensive to do stuff in California though. That is absolutely correct as there are more rings of fire to jump through, and at any point they all fall to the ground and burn the tent with it.

@californiapost Another train to nowhere. Anyone who lives in LA knows that you could take the same amount of money and just double the size of the freeways and take care of the problem. LA is not NYC or Chicago…it’s like 100x more expansive.

Interesting choice of words. Failure to mention you still have to pay in cash at any TVM. Cannot register a new TAP card to do a balance transfer from expired cards, and cannot buy cards online. Importantly, cannot get in or out of stations w/o repurchasing fare and cards.

We've restored TAP card sales & reloads - customers can now add fares, purchase new virtual cards and/or reload existing TAP cards via the TAP app, Apple wallet or via TAP vendors. Thank you for your patience as we continue to address network connectivity issues.

@metrolaalerts Still not fixed. Still have no access to my funds that I had on a tap card that expired during the outage. Ridiculous. Fare gates are locked and I can't get in or out of the stations. Not up to pay twice.
