Update: Sambo is accusing Abazz of later delivering low-quality, fake nylon jerseys at the premium price paid by Victor Osimhen. Abazz says the jerseys are not fake but player-grade, and he will continue delivery of the remaining five as scheduled.

Abazz is trending because Victor Osimhen paid the influencer for 15 jerseys to gift a fan (Sambo) who recommended his store. Instead he tried seizing 7 of the jersey. Morris Monye had to order him to do the right thing. Osimhen directed him to give Sambo 15 football jerseys to share to whomever he wanted. But Abazz decided to give him 8 and handle the giveaway of 7, because if Sambo messes the giveaway up, it would fall on him. Sambo called him out for flouting the directives from Osimhen. Then Abazz accused him of being a scammer as the tweet he used to win the giveaway was copied. After some dragging ear and dear, Abazz said it was just a miscommunication, but Sambo should atleast give one jersey to the original author of the copied tweet. Morris intervened, asked him to give Sambo all 15 jerseys, to protect his integrity and image as an upcoming influencer, and offered to pay for the extra one. Twitter concluded Abazz was greedy and trying to keep the jerseys and the cash or to announce his cronies as giveaway winners. As they drew quick comparison to Ruth who used almost a month to distribute the second best Victor Boniface’s ₦1M giveaway. * Load screenshots in HQ. •• Stop punching codes on your prepaid, you load directly to the prepaid remotely, check balance, disconnect debtors and many more all remotely! move your estate to @VendrNg || Start Free! David Hundeyin is trending because West Africa Weekly said they fired him over repeated financial irresponsibility and work ethics. Meanwhile, David is saying he wasn’t FIRED, he left because they wanted to turn the News company to Obidient News Paper. [FULL] This clash started 2-days ago when WAW published a piece on India sending 1,000 bags of rice to easen humanitarian crisis in Burkina Faso; Readers were surprised to see David publishing such a piece which confirmed all is not well in his beloved African Utopia. — Because he’s a strong supporter of the Ibrahim Traore’s military government, and a proud pan-Africanist. Today, WAW was forced to clarify that it wasn’t David who wrote the story, infact they sacked him over evidence-driven financial irresponsibility, questionable work ethic, and they have made $0.00 on all newsletter subscriptions, as all the money still goes to David. David laughed it off, saying he still owns 50% of the company, so how is it possible he was sacked from his own company where he worked for free for years and quietly left to preserve his “baby.” Apparently, David wanted WAW to pursue an ideologically Pan-Africanist editorial strategy; but the new investors were scared to offend the U.S. government, prefered to be a Peter Obi-slop News, with occasional criticism of U.S. foreign policies. David wanted them to pay journalists more not (₦110k), focus on African geopolitics, hire a dedicated Sahel reporter, prioritize video content, adopt foreign revenue models and stop trying to be a traditional Nigerian news company, because they won’t let it happen due to his affiliation. After the board refused his ideas, he left quietly with two of their finest journalists; Mayowa Durosimi and Kangmwa Gofwen to start — The Spearhead Africa; where he implemented all the ideas and all worked out successfully and has now surpassed WAW, which David believes is heading for the drains. David founded the company in 2021 from his popular Substack newsletter in a hostel apartment in Ghana after hitting rock bottom. It drew diasporan interest and investments in 2023, which left him with 50% shares. He expanded because after being a daredevil for years he felt it was time for some assistance and structure. David strongly believes they are now after his reputation because they know the company is dying without him and they are struggling hard to tie him to the titanic. — He name dropped Francis 'Teke' Onwuemene. Adding that WAW are now busy chasing NNPC gigs instead of developing sustainable revenue models. However, David generously said he’s open to selling his remaining 50% shares at a massive discount, using the companies 2022 valuation rate of $100k He says he still has backend access to everything and could have nuked it how same set of investors did Parallel Facts. This has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians. To some; the daredevil journalist has finally been exposed. To others; he remains the, David Hundeyin. Follow @TrendingEx for daily explanations!

Blord & VeryDarkMan is trending because according to VDM, the crypto billionaire was arraigned and will spend 26-days including Easter in Kuje Prison, after bail was denied, over criminal impersonation and fraud. His Offence: 1. Forgery and Misrepresentation: Forging agreement documents with the intent to deceive the public into believing that Martins Vincent Otse is affiliated with or involved in Blunts Gadgets. 2.Unauthorized Use of Likeness (Digital Advertising): Using the image and likeness of Martins Vincent Otse in digital advertisements without his authorization or consent. 3. Unauthorized Use of Likeness (Billboard Advertising): Displaying billboard advertisements featuring the image of Martins Vincent Otse (also known as VDM), falsely representing that he endorsed the BillPoint application, without authorization. 4. Trademark Infringement: Using the name “Ratel” without the consent or authorization of the lawful trademark owner. 5. False Representation: Falsely claiming, during a live stream with Carter Efe, that the sum of ₦500,000,000 (Five Hundred Million Naira) was paid to Martins Vincent Otse (VDM) as an ambassadorial fee. 6. Deceptive Promotion and Public Misleading: Utilizing the name and persona of Martins Vincent Otse (VDM) to promote a product launch in Onitsha, thereby misleading the public into believing he would be physically present, and consequently inducing large public attendance under false pretenses. Blord denied the allegations and pled not guilty. His counsel sought bail but it wasn’t granted as the prosecution (VDM’s lawyers) said they want to respond, to argue why the bail should either be denied or given under stricter conditions, so the court gave them time to respond, hence the three-weeks. Nigerians are polarized on who to support between both content creators. Many argue that Blord brought it upon himself, others insist they are a programmed distraction. Divorce is trending because someone found a pretty interesting Bible verse that has got everyone preaching.. 1 Corinthians 7:27-28 (NCV) “If you are not married, do not try to find a wife. If a girl who has never married decides to marry, she has not sinned. But those who marry will have trouble in this life, and I want you to be free from trouble.” The poster is asking people for interpretation, and everyone is well, interpreting and explaining. With over 20,000 reactions almost everyone is saying, it means — Don’t Marry, if you’re married Divorce. But Christian twitter is insisting it’s the message of Paul the Apostle taken out of context. It got more confusing on another Bible version like KJV. But relaxed on NLT Same Verse in KJV and NLT [KJV] 27. Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. 28. But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you. [NLT] 27. If you have a wife, do not seek to end the marriage. If you do not have a wife, do not seek to get married. 28. But if you do get married, it is not a sin. And if a young woman gets married, it is not a sin. However, those who get married at this time will have troubles, and I am trying to spare you those problems.
