@nextlevelbb I’ve seen one case where it didn’t help. Elite D1 player, heavy into CrossFit, competed at a high level. Got too big, lost flexibility, and it impacted his swing and performance.

I’m open to hearing other perspectives on the NEC, if you see it differently, I’m all ears. But the reality is it’s a low-performing conference and not a strong destination for West Coast players.

When 6 of the bottom 8 RPI teams are in one conference… and Delaware State is 2–24 🤢 At this point, it’s hard to argue this isn’t the lowest-performing conference in college baseball.

@tromblybaseball I haven’t looked at every schedule, but those are Northeast teams, most have to schedule Southern teams in Jan., Feb., and get pounded in non-conference games. Unfortunately, that’s just the nature of the beast, the bottom of the league is definitely rough.
