Congratulations to UAEM Copenhagen, who have successfully scheduled their first meeting with their university to discuss clinical trial transparency. Copenhagen University & Hospitals have only reported a shocking 7.9% of 164 due trials, and we aspire to greatly increase this %!

UAEM Aarhus hosted a Transparency Cafe, educating students to "look behind the mask", & find the missing information for 5 drugs for specific diseases (e.g. Ebola & Diabetes). The cafe highlighted the lack of transparency with drug development, including R&D costs & drug pricing.

Advocates from UAEM Groningen campaigned on their campus this week, demanding more transparency with their university’s medical research. 8 of the University of Groningens clinical trials have been reported with inconsistent data! This is not acceptable! #alltrials #access2meds

This week, UAEM Vienna hosted an evening discussion with Marcus Bachman from MSF, who addressed 100 students at the Medical University of Vienna, talking about his work with Ebola, and the struggle in providing vaccine treatments to those affected in Africa. #access2meds

UAEM Vienna have been posting stories from trial participants where the clinical trial results were never published.Not publishing results is unethical to trial participants, who volunteer because they believe (and are told so) their participation inform future medical decisions
