Congrats to our own @ItsShaheenK and Scott Parrott, whose work won the "Best of Festival" award for interactive multimedia from the Broadcast Education Association. Their team created "The Mental Game" to help athletes navigate mental health issues. @BEAWebTweets

He will also use the archives to help students understand how media industries are responding to pressures to diversify their workforces and their media images while linking the experiences and accomplishments of African Americans to the larger study of mass media.

Daniels’s course, “Race, Gender and Media,” will use The HistoryMakers Digital Archive to help students tackle issues at the intersection of race and gender in the U.S. mass media.
