Asylum decisions have quadrupled. The asylum backlog is now down from its peak of 175,000 to 49,000 people awaiting a decision - the lowest level since 2019. More decisions mean more asylum hotel closures and more illegal migrants removed or deported.

Net migration stood at 331,000. The latest stats now show that figure has almost halved in a year. We are ending Britain’s reliance on overseas labour, ensuring migrants contribute more than they take and are increasing the removal of illegal migrants and foreign criminals.

Knife robberies have fallen by 21% in major hotspots since June 2024. The use of enhanced intelligence, and the targeting of repeat and high-harm offenders, has meant that 3,285 fewer people have experienced the fear of being held at knifepoint in these areas.

We’re investing the largest funding package in UK history to crack down on grooming gangs and child sexual abuse. The grooming gangs scandal is one of the darkest moments in this country’s history – where the most vulnerable people were abused and exploited at the hands of evil child rapists. A £100 million record investment will help to track down and lock up these dangerous child sex offenders.

We’re taking the fight to the organised criminals who abuse our high streets. We're backing the police and trading standards to shut down bogus businesses, stop dodgy shops from opening, and put the dirty cash they launder back into the public purse.

Criminal gangs have exploited our high streets to launder their dirty money and undercut honest businesses. We're hitting back with a nationwide crackdown to shut these fronts down, seize dirty cash, drive organised crime off our high streets and put bosses behind bars.

A new High Street Organised Crime Unit will target rogue shops like barbers and vape stores to tackle organised crime on our high streets. The unit will work with police to identify gaps in enforcement and stop criminals setting up their networks in the first place.
