#USFHealth’s Dr. Charles Lockwood and Dr. Julio Lautersztain, a leader in oncological care in the Tampa Bay region, met with Argentina’s Senate Majority Leader, Patricia Bullrich, to discuss USF’s partnership with Dean Guillermo Mazzolini of the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at Universidad Austral. The collaboration aims to expand health care access across Argentina by integrating nurse practitioners into the care model. Training, led by @USFHealthNurse, will serve as the first step, alongside ongoing policy work to recognize and support this critical segment of the health care workforce.
