They’re representative of their states and people generally. The diversity of opinions is just a consequence of diversity of Indian people.

Indian judges make absolutely zero sense to me. Their values are too diverse to belong to the same institution. Need to rein them in.
Also, obligations are best internalised; something you feel from within. If someone has to coerce you to feel obligated, it's over.

IIT experts called in to fix CBSE's glitchy re-evaluation portal. That one line tells everything about where we are. To be fair, OSM for Class 12, moving NEET to CBT, cutting re-evaluation fees. These are directionally good reforms. But the trigger for reform has always been crisis, and the execution has been consistently sloppy and dismal. The NEET paper leak was an appalling failure that can [potentially destroy a year for lakhs of students. And here's the thing. It definitely didn't need a paper leak to figure out CBT was safer. That was obvious years ago. The ministry just didn't move until it had no choice. Now CBSE launches a new digital correction system. A surge in re-evaluation applications was entirely predictable. Yet the portal collapsed. Deadline extended twice. 98 lakh answer sheets in the system. Students and parents in panic. Again. Mess with a student's future often enough and we don't create disappointment, but a generation of permanently alienated citizens, radicalised against the very state that was supposed to serve them. At some point of time, brazening out of such crisis will not be an option

At these rates, Telangana, Karnataka and TN will hit $10k per capita nominal by early 2030s max. These states are cumulatively India's growth engine. They deserve a better deal from the center which pours all money into laggard and backward regions instead.

Weirdly enough, the rules are quite clear for single parents. And there is a good reason that they're there - to prevent one parent running away with the child.
While this could be a genuine case, the system isn't ready for exceptions. From what I've heard i think a legal order from an HC might be needed here.

Four hours at the Passport Office Mumbai @rpomumbai with my minor daughter for her passport renewal because the father’s signature isn’t there. FOUR HOURS of zero clarity, zero empathy, zero system. My child is hungry, exhausted, sitting on a plastic chair in a sea of chaos while officials keep sending us from one counter to another with no answers. Why is a single mother still treated like a suspicious exception instead of a parent? Why is a child being punished because the system cannot handle families that don’t fit a perfect template? Absolute humiliation, overcrowding, indifference, and no accountability. Passport Office Mumbai seriously needs to do better for single parents and children. This is really not a country for single mothers.

This man, Gulshan Pahuja, uploaded a video on YouTube and was sent to jail for saying: “Adalaton ki manmarzi badhti jaa rahi hai aur main koi nyay ki umeed nahi kar raha. Manmarzi ka dusra arth tanashahi hota hai.” The Delhi High Court said that he showed no regret. Therefore, the court imposed six months’ imprisonment and a fine of ₹2,000.
