🚨BREAKING: ICE agents are ripping breastfeeding mothers away from their babies. Not the “worst of the worst”… BREASTFEEDING MOTHERS. These are parents with active, pending legal cases, trying to care for their babies, and being taken anyway. And when ICE takes a breastfeeding mother, they are endangering an infant, and there is no justification for that. Because many babies will not take formula, and many won’t even take a bottle. So, separating a nursing mother from her baby means that baby may not eat. At all. And that is how babies starve. This is exactly why detaining breastfeeding mothers was historically against ICE protocol… Even the government understood that taking a nursing parent can be deadly. Those protections existed for a reason... And the Trump administration removed them. Now, mothers are being detained while their babies lose their primary source of nutrition, immune protection, comfort, and survival. When families are forced to crowdsource donated breast milk just to keep an infant alive, that is not a system failure. That is a system functioning exactly as designed. A system built to profit from human detention… even when it endangers babies. A system built on human trafficking. And just to reiterate: They are taking mothers who are here legally… They have active, pending immigration cases. So no, you do not get to call yourself “pro-life” while supporting a system that knowingly puts infants at risk of starvation. If this administration cared about the lives of babies, this would never be happening. What ICE is doing is evil, and there is no moral defense for it.
