Rather than following one fixed cast in a literal narrative, the collection presents a sequence of related scenarios and emotional variations centered on the same core dynamic: submissive husbands and wives placing themselves in the hands of poised, self-possessed dominant women whose authority feels unfamiliar, intimate, and transformative. What unites the images is not the repetition of identical faces, but the continuity of atmosphere, psychology, and desire. At the heart of the collection lies a fascination with contrast.
