I designed and developed this new landing page for Transloadit. The page brings together three different brands (Transloadit, Uppy, and Tus), which was quite a challenge. It was designed in Figma, coded with Next.js (React), and styled with Tailwind. - Cursor and Claude also helped a bit. @uppy_io @robj3d3 Cost is a concern for us as we don’t meter our users. Besides, with S3 pre signed URLs, and multi part uploads, we can serve 1000s of concurrent uploads on a single server

Using R2 for handling media Upload/download on localhost is lightning fast ⚡️ But in production it’s sooo slow Same R2 bucket in both cases Can anyone help with ideas?

@pkp_io @robj3d3 Self-hosting is definitely an option! But it takes work to build redundancy, add tusd for reliability, etc, so you could also consider the ingestion network by Transloadit

@robj3d3 Went through multiple iterations and there’s always some users having upload issues - network reconnects etc in the wild. My best advice would be to use @uppy_io (self hosted)

@rauchg tus.io Behind the scenes improving the experience for all the world’s creators. The mission to cease to exist is becoming a reality since IETF adoption. Still, there’s a long polyfilling road ahead until the day that all browsers/clients and servers speak it.

@kvz Incredible. Started on the worst cellular reception at a cafe, finished on Wi-fi at my house, all in the same in-app web browser session. Upload reliability and speed is a huge obsession of mine. Thanks for this work
