FrostByte Defense Technologies, a startup co-founded by ECE PhD candidate Jakob Travis, has developed a self-regulating heated glove liner designed to protect hands in extreme cold. The system tracks tissue temperature and automatically turns on heat when it senses potential frostbite risk.
