Attorney General Clark has taken the Trump administration to court 48 times since January 2025. As long as this lawless federal administration keeps coming for Vermonters' rights, Attorney General Clark and Secretary of State Copeland Hanzas will be there to fight back.

The Constitution does not allow the President to unilaterally change election procedures. Vermont has safe and secure elections. The lawsuit alleges that the President’s executive order violates the separation of powers and unlawfully interferes with states’ mail voting programs.
