❓ Can we switch back and forth between in-person instruction and virtual learning? ➡️ No. We are asking families to make a commitment for at least the first half of the year and possibly longer so we can make staffing and transportation decisions.

❓ Will the Virtual Academy be just like NTI? ➡️ No. The Virtual Academy will be a full-time online school option that families will elect for a certain amount of time. It will differ in its rigor, the way instruction is conveyed, participation requirements, & grading.

No regionals either. Looks like the season is no more. I completely understand but it’s still sad.

They just voted and no state championship this season.

❓When will a decision be announced about the start of the school year? ➡️@JCPSKY is continuing to listen to our staff & the community as we plan for the start of the school year. We will share more information with the Jefferson County Board of Education next Tuesday, July 21.

❓ If we start the year on NTI, will it look like it did in the spring? ➡️ No. Our team is working diligently to ensure it is a more robust and engaging program for all of our students. It would require daily interaction between the teachers and students.

📱We received more than 600 questions for our Virtual Town Hall tonight. If you sent in a question to our text line during the event, we are working on getting you a response now. We will send those until 9:00 p.m. & start again tomorrow until all questions are answered.
