For years, one question has haunted me. We’ve faithfully preached the gospel for decades and millions have come to Christ—so why has American culture gotten worse, not better? After testing all my prior assumptions, I found them wanting. But out of that intense examination the answer I was looking for finally emerged.
In this episode, I share my surprising, tearful conclusion. It’s not a lack of evangelism, follow-up, discipleship, social action or prayer. It was something that took me completely off guard—but probably shouldn’t have. One critical piece is still undeniably missing; that single element will determine the future of America.
Join me as I walk you through my very personal journey of discovery, finally solving the enigma which has perplexed me for years.
Once you have heard my thoughts, please let me know what you think of my conclusion. Do you agree or disagree? And why. America’s future depends on it. Connect at BrightMedia.org

Hitler. Stalin. Mao. Did God REALLY give them authority? 😳
This will challenge everything you thought you knew about the Bible and power.

For 35 years, I've been asked: Is it a sin to take a life in war?
It's a heavy question for those in uniform and beyond, and many fear discussing it. In this article, I tackle it honestly. #TheWarriorsSoul vist.ly/4weqv

Tired of being bombarded with guilt-inducing soundbites disguised as compassion—like "no human is illegal," "love is love," or accusations of white privilege, racism or fascism? Megyn Kelly calls it "toxic" empathy. I call it SELECTIVE compassion or GUILT-TRIP compassion. It is MANIPULATION that appeals to emotion over logic. It cunningly redefines your values, and then it shames you into conformity.
In this episode of the God Is the Issue Podcast, Brad Bright breaks down how these peddlers of guilt control conversations by weaponizing shame and guilt.
Learn three simple, powerful steps to take back control. Discover how to win people—not just arguments—by fishing for those seeking truth, just like Jesus did. If you're a Christian frustrated by the emotional manipulation that grips our culture, this episode will better equip you to respond shrewdly and biblically.

Everybody’s got an opinion. Not everybody has wisdom. Some advice will help you. Some will hurt you.
If you’re heading into a battle, listen to someone who’s already fought it. Choose your voices wisely this week.

Is Don Lemon a Christian?
Wroooong Question. In this episode of the God is the Issue Podcast, Brad Bright exposes the common trap most Christians fall into when responding to "I'm a Christian" claims—from pro-choice “Christians" to pew sitters to those who deny the deity of Christ. Discover how to shrewdly respond to people who assert “I’m a Christian,” but whose lifestyle or beliefs say otherwise. Avoid the no-win rhetorical “I’m a Christian” trap with one simple but shrewd question that anyone can use to reframe the entire conversation. Brad finishes by presenting the Bible’s five stated criteria for a Christian. Featured: A clip of Kristan Hawkins’ debate with a “Christian” pastor where she stepped into this common trap.

I learned this in the military and had to remind myself this weekend: you can fight the enemy, but you can’t fight the weather.
Some things are out of your control. Focus on what you can control. That’s where your strength counts.
