I fumbled $10M+ back in 2023 when $PEPE launched. Someone sent me $PEPE on day one, around $500k market cap. This was before memecoins were even a thing, the whole concept was new to all of us. I went on my computer and was about to buy a few thousand dollars worth. But decided not to and waited instead. Again, none of us really knew what this was at first. I checked again a bit later at $1M, but still didn’t buy. Then the same thing happened at $2M, I was sure it was the top. And then again at $5M, $10M, $20M. Every single time I told myself surely this is the top. Convinced myself I shouldn't buy it. All of this happened within the first 3–4 days. After that I kept checking the chart every day seeing how hard I fumbled. Two weeks later when it was around $600M, I called @0xSweep and told him the whole story. I told him it's actually heading towards $1B. While we were on the phone $PEPE got listed on Binance and a few other major exchanges. Price instantly spiked to $1.8B. To this day it’s still the biggest fumble of my crypto journey. The few thousand dollars I almost bought would’ve been worth millions. Don't be like me.
