I think Crufts and the KC, and just “showing” animals in general, is honestly the biggest load of nonsense and causes so much harm to the breeds involved.

I’m just SO tired of @Crufts show ring BS & banging on about morals/ethics of parading dogs around a ring for awards to feed human ego & vanity that I nearly didn’t share this. But why on earth did nobody object to this? Poor old dog could do with pain relief & a comfy bed🤦

@fairlyoddfairy Yes, often have times just wondering “is this it? Is this all life is supposed to be?” Capitalism is just being stuck on a treadmill you can’t get off, unless you’re exceptionally wealthy. I can’t dwell on it otherwise it’s very depressing.

@vetyogi While I agree with you completely, I was told once (rightly or wrongly, I don’t know) that coloured suture material leaves the dye behind when it dissolves, creating a tattoo in humans?
