We did pass right to try last year. It is the law. They tried to expand it again this year. I supported both bills. But I also think the narrative that we did not pass right to try is wrong. Some folks want to see how last years bill plays out. I get that too. It is still big pharma and people have lost trust in that.

@victoria4nh Senator @roche4nh has openly blocked or added ridiculous stuff to bills so they will die. People are really pissed off at him for stopping right to try. If he does not reverse that position I am pretty sure he will get primaried.

I hate the division between the House and Senate right now. It is counter productive. I have worked across the aisle. I have worked across chambers. I helped get bills of my colleagues in the House passed. I have worked behind the scenes on important bills. Sometimes I succeeded. Sometimes I failed. But I tried. Yesterday I was repaid by my Republican colleagues (many of whom whose backs I have had when the Dems targeted them with everything they had) tanked incredibly important legislation that would have secured play-based learning up to 3rd grade, secured recess and banned taking away recess as a punishment. I was bind-sided by the way they gutted the bill and refused to negotiate. I hate the politics of it. I am there to serve the people. That’s it. This was important for the kids. It was important for the teachers. They failed the kids yesterday. My Democratic colleague stood with Senator Ward and myself. I thanked her for her support. I will continue to fight for these kids and make public schools better for them. This won’t happen as soon as I would have liked because of the short-sightedness of my colleagues. More kids will be hurt by the current system. But I will get it done. #nhpolitics

So I could go on about this one for hours. When my kids were in elementary school, we parked our cars, walked them to the playground where they played for about 10 or 15 minutes before school and then the teachers lined them all up and then they walked inside the building together. When we got a new teachers’ contract, the drop off window became 20 minutes. So now you had 450 kids trying to get into the building within 20 minutes. They then stopped allowing us to park and get out the cars. There was no more play before school. And we had to do the stupid car line. That car line backed all the way up into Goffes-Falls Rd and we almost got rear-ended many times. I refused to comply and would park my car, walk my kids to the door, give him a hug and a kiss and send them on their way. The principal tried to tell me I couldn’t do that, but I refused to listen to her. And then a notice went home, saying that the drop off period was too short, causing traffic problems so they wanted everyone to put their kids on the buses. This increased our transportation costs in the city tremendously. But the ultimate goal was to get parents out of the schools and have them be solely in their cars without speaking to each other.

@victoria4nh 4/ and it’s crazy to me how many public schools have a parent/caregiver pickup line. Why? There are busses! Let your kid ride with friends and walk home outside . And why are parents waiting in their cars at the bottom of their driveways in their cars with the kids for the bus?

@PACmanUSA1 It just isn’t. Play-based was the standard. Them common core came in removed it. Then they tried to use SEL to replace what was missing instead of going back to what works.

@TarrinLupo It was House members. Don’t believe the hype that the Senate is blocking things. We were handed some pretty poorly written bills. But the House plays plenty of games.

Feel better soon Senator Ricciardi - sorry folks in my party were so insensitive about your medical absence in recent weeks. We may have policy differences, but I’ve always known you to work hard for your district with class and decency. Concussions are no joke; heal well. #NHPolitics

@victoria4nh No sale, My Lady. Session work was what she was elected to do, #NoExcuses. But missing from this pitch: Would the @NHDems alternative be better, even with perfect attendance? Does he have a TotenKopf tattoo or a matching philosophy?

This is disgusting. Senator Ricciardi sustained an injury. Yes, she attended a couple of events and realized that she just wasn’t up for it. There is no way she could have endured a 12 hour session that ran until 10:30pm. But they know all of this. Being kind is a choice. Being hate-filled little trolls is a choice. They chose poorly. #nhpolitics

We are making sure the current and new buildings have no blind spots for cameras. There will be audio added to the video cameras. We are making sure there is oversight and no child ever goes through that again. Thank you for speaking up. I’m sorry that no one acted on your reports.

@victoria4nh @ExtremistIndy Very much so. These kids broke my freaking heart. I am TRULY grateful they are being heard. They were prostituted between staff. They were taken to "closed" buildings after hours for extended gym time or therapy sessions amongst other things And yeah, I'm grateful for you V.

As the democrats continue to politicize the problems at the Sununu Center, I would like to point out that none of them ever attend the meetings of Oversight Commission of Children’s Services. They do not take an interest at all. If the Dems had their way we would have had no budget and all programs would have shut down including parks and beaches just as summer was approaching. They refused to compromise and just voted no on ALL funding. #nhpolitics

@jessichka1987 @victoria4nh Even if true, but we know Democrats lie a lot, you're still a disgruntled employee. So perhaps someone improvised on a lock, and now it's a dungeon, so theatrical.

It only has 15 kids now. We have significantly reduced infractions that get a child out there. For example, run away no longer go there. It is being moved to a clinical model instead of a prison model. That is where the training, and frankly, new staff come in. They currently use temps which has to stop. You need people in the building that build relationships with the children and staff. But, I would love your insight. We have spoken with past and present staff as well as past residents.

@victoria4nh Remember that the Democrats platform this cycle is to tell you they have a plan to fix everything in your life, but they can't tell you about the plan until after you vote for them because it's a secret plan.

I frankly, don’t care about the bill. I care that you lie and manipulate for fundraising. The language of the bill was for Breast REDUCTION surgery: You have not spoken against anything else in this chapter of law. But if you believed that one bill took away parental consent and allowed for breast removal then why are you ok with the rest of the chapter? Because you know full well that it didn’t. But you wanted to create some moral outrage and attack the senate. You are a lobbyists like any other lobbyist. You were mad that we didn’t pass your priority bills. This was nothing more than a temper tantrum. gc.nh.gov/bill_status/bi…

The NH Senate just acceded to the House request to remove amendment 1938s from HB 1376. Originally a bill protecting parent's right to raise their children in a manner consistent with their biological sex, 1938s would have allowed teenage girls' healthy body parts to be surgically removed for any reason.

People don’t care if it affects “the few” until your family is the “few” impacted. Education Freedom accounts have almost 11k children using them. Many had to escape unsafe school environments. It doesn’t matter to the masses I guess—until it is your child. We kept the Dems from taking away significant 2nd Amendment Rights. It only affects “the few” until those limitations expand to every gun owner. As far as illegal immigrants are concerned—we passed laws so that law enforcement would work with ICE and banned sanctuary cities. Can you imagine what the Dems would have done if they were in charge? Man, we worked our arses off and you think you got shafted? That’s just shocking.

@victoria4nh @James4NH @SununuSenator @TPAction I appreciate what you do tremendously. And when you stand back & look at it from a voter's perspective, we got shafted. Ed affects many but not all. Illegals affect ALL. Very few of us are murderers. It's great but affects few. Bail reform is good but affects few.

New Hampshire hasn’t had a Republican in Congress since 2016, leaving half of our state without a voice in Washington. This year, we have a chance to change that by sending John E. Sununu to the Senate. @SununuSenator was a strong, conservative voice for New Hampshire before and he will be again, which is why I’m excited to see @TPAction endorse him!
