@alamanecer It’s also almost like the producers just went for follower count and didn’t watch the show to realize she was a liability. She’s either drugged out, crying, complaining, or sometimes a combination of all three on every single episode. The fact that they bet on her is wild.

@VictoriaTheTech I think she was mostly chosen due to her follower count that she would be able to attract the most viewers. I’m glad they did the right thing. I am such a firm believer against violence.

@zarchasmpgmr Right? She has CONSTANTLY been the most unstable one of the group. Can’t even enter a room without being drugged up, crying, complaining, or sometimes a combination of all three. I don’t know why they thought this was a good idea. Seriously poor judgement on their part.

@dsnymike If they still wanted to go with someone from the franchise to ride off of the hype of it, they should have chosen Miranda (if she was up for it).
Instead this season was cancelled, Mormon Wives is now on pause, and all the ladies are mad that this is messing up their checks.

@dsnymike Bingo. There are SO many questions behind the scenes that I’d love to know the answers to (she already has a history of DV, she has 3 kids by 2 different men, she video was recorded in 2023, and she has a CONSTANT on and off relationship with this dude) as to why she was chosen.

@rosecoloredmeg_ Ok thank you!! I thought I was going crazy during the first season 😂 Although it was good, I thought it was going to focus way more on swinging and instead seemed more like a RHOSLC knockoff. Now it’s just completely off the rails.

@rosecoloredmeg_ …to the moms and their lives. It kind of started out as RHOSLC “light” but has now kind of morphed into its own monster. They’re all perpetually teenagers, many of them are divorced with multiple kids, for the most part their partners are SUPER insecure…it’s a mess.

@rosecoloredmeg_ My conspiracy theory is that the initial show was going to focus WAY more on the Mormon swinging/cheating scandal that was going through that community but to nobody’s surprise, people didn’t want to go on national TV and talk about their infidelity. So they had to pivot…

@divotjr That’s what I thought. It’s not me, it’s a friend who is going through some major challenges with a publisher right now (I had permission to post at their request due to the publisher acting a bit out of pocket) and we find it SO odd that the publisher isn’t fixing the mistake.

@VictoriaTheTech Your deal is with the publisher. As far as you’re concerned, it’s on them. If the publisher wants to go after the printer, so be it. Not your problem.

A general PLN question:
If a publisher outsources their printing and the printer makes an egregious error contrary to the proof, but the printer will not offer a reprint, should the author be required to foot the bill for said reprint or should the publisher have to eat it?

@VictoriaTheTech Publisher because they outsource, its due to their actions, but if the printer made the error outside of what was approved than that's a bit wild that they wouldn't fix it.
