Three teenagers were trying to gain unrestricted access into the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, but were denied access into the premises. The soldiers noticed something uneasy and unsettling about the behavioral patterns of these teenagers so they conducted a careful security search. Lo and behold, explosives were concealed inside a food flask. The explosion and attack today, if successful, would have been gravely dangerous. Thank a soldier today!

At this rate we might as well go back to 1986 and overturn Maradona's Hand of God against England.

Moniepoint is using its influence to bully its own customers. Aliu Adebayo, a sickle cell patient, was arrested and detained for 9 days across three different cities over tweets about 7.5% VAT charges.

This is my new video on YouTube about how Nigeria went from having 24 international merchant ships in 1964 to none by 2026. The decline was largely driven by corruption and embezzlement. Many of the ships were eventually seized in foreign ports due to unpaid debts. Here’s the link: youtu.be/errSZ8pZoA8 I really wish this video will go viral. If this comes across your timeline, please share.

Nigeria is a perfect British colonial experiment. You can hardly find any anti-colonial thinking going on there. An average Nigerian loves the white man more than the white man loves himself.

King Arthur got cursed with a strange disease... ... and only an old, ugly witch can cure him. But the witch demanded a young, handsome knight for husband, and Galahad took it for the team and married her. On the night of the wedding, the witch turned into a beautiful woman and offered Galahad the choice: she could be old and ugly during the day, and young and beautiful at night, or vice versa. Galahad told her that he respected her choice over her appearance, and she could decide that. The witch was pleased, as Galahad knew what a woman wanted the most: freedom over her body. She told Galahad that she would be a beautiful wife for him all the time for him. The moral of the story is that: No matter how good your wife looks, she is still a witch underneath.

It looks that way because NERC’s quarterly report only shows the Market Operator (MO) invoices for international bilateral customers. The GenCo energy charge for exports sits in bilateral contracts and isn’t published in the same settlement table. Your ₦859bn for DisCos combines GenCo (NBET) + MO invoices, so it’s not an apples-to-apples comparison.

Still struggling to understand why Benin, Niger & Togo who got ~1000MW btw Q1-Q3 2025 were only invoiced N27.1bln (N1450:$1) for generation & transmission costs, while our DisCos who got ~3355MW (~3.3x exports) were invoiced N859.23bln (before DRO) & N400.48bln (after DRO). 1/2
