The Senate is voting on the SAVE Act this week. We need donations right now to get accurate information to voters, and every dollar is matched through a $50K grant. Change doesn't just happen. Leadership matters. Keep the ballot accessible for all. 👉 bit.ly/47TEWE4

Breaking🚨 Florida just passed HB 991, and the bill's own sponsor acknowledges that an estimated 872,000 Floridians lack the required ID. Students, seniors, and women who changed their names through marriage or divorce could all lose access to the ballot.

During WWII, The Six Triple Eight, the first and only all-Black, all-female battalion deployed overseas, cleared a 2-year mail backlog of 22M pieces of mail in just 3 months. "No Mail, Low Morale" was their motto. #BlackHistoryMonth

Changing the U.S. Constitution isn’t just hard—it’s designed to be. With only 27 amendments passed out of over 11,000 proposals, the process ensures every change reflects a broad national consensus. Stability, not trends, is the goal. #Constitution #Amendments #Civics

Dr. Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech, is considered a pivotal moment in the Civil Rights Movement. About 75-80% of the attendees were Black, & the rest were from other racial & ethnic backgrounds, reflecting a diverse coalition for equality & justice. #mlkday2025

The U.S. presidential inauguration happens on January 20th, thanks to the 20th Amendment. Before this, presidents were sworn in on March 4th, leaving a long gap between the election and the start of their term. In the 1800s, slower communication and travel meant it took months for election results to be finalized and new officials to take office. By the 20th century, modern technology made this delay unnecessary, so the amendment sped up the transition process. Fun fact for our history buffs: The first president inaugurated on January 20th was Franklin D. Roosevelt during his second term in 1937! #TheMoreYouKnow #InaugurationDay #USHistory

The Speaker of the House isn't just a title - it's one of the most powerful roles in U.S. government. The Speaker decides what bills get debated, oversees legislative priorities, and plays a key role in shaping national policy. This critical position is chosen when the new Congress convenes (today - January 3, 2025) and is chosen through a vote by your representatives; proof that every election matters. #SpeakerOfTheHouse #DemocracyInAction #TheMoreYouKnow
