Donald Trump ran on solving the affordability crisis and keeping America out of forever wars. Promises made, promises broken.

Republicans in Congress will do anything to shield Trump from facing accountability. The people deserve to know the truth.

The Pentagon wants $200 billion more to spend on an unauthorized, reckless Iran War. That $$$ could pay for childcare for every American kid until age 5. It could save healthcare for millions by extending ACA credits for 6+ years. Let’s fund life at home, not unnecessary war.

SCOOP: The Pentagon asked the White House today for more than *$200 billion* for the Iran war supplemental, sources say Some White House aides think Congress won't support b/c it's so big Will tee up giant battle in Congress

Kaine: Chris asked Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair Senator Jim Risch: ‘When are we going to have a public hearing about this war? When?’ Senator Risch responded: ‘I have decided that we will not have public hearings because I do not believe the administration’s decision-makers should be subject to public questioning by senators.’ I mean, can you believe that? I give him credit—I’ll give him credit for candor—but they do not believe that civilian decision-makers should be subject to questions by United States senators. If they were secure in the justness of their cause or the adequacy of their plan, they would not be afraid to answer public questions about what they’re doing.

Pete Hegseth is using the deaths of American servicemembers to push his political agenda. A Gold Star father explicitly says he never told Hegseth to “finish the job” in Iran, despite Hegseth’s claims. Exploiting grieving families with lies is a disqualifying lack of integrity.

Trump once claimed he didn't need foreign policy advisors because of his "very good brain." Today, the brainiac managed to insult democratic Japan, dishonor those Americans who died, and compare our military to Imperial Japan in one comment.

Hey @MarkwayneMullin! I'd love to know where you learned about the "smell" and "taste" of war. And the "special assignments" you completed. And the "situations" you've been in "overseas." You said it's something you'll "never forget." Can't wait to hear more tomorrow!
