#SuccessTRAIN #Leadership
High-performing teams aren’t built on fear, silence, or pretending everything is fine.
They’re built when people feel safe enough to speak honestly, challenge ideas, ask questions, and bring their full selves to the table.
Psychological safety isn’t weakness.
It’s the foundation of trust, innovation, and healthy leadership.

I am deeply saddened to share that my Godfather, Dr. Clarence B. Jones, peacefully transitioned to Heaven on Friday, May 22nd at the age of 95. He loved and protected me fiercely, prayed over me constantly and was there for me until his very last day.
Dr. Jones was a confidant, lawyer and speechwriter to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., helped plan the March on Washington, and drafted portions of the “I Have a Dream” speech. He also smuggled Dr. King’s “Letter From Birmingham Jail” out to the world on scraps of paper and notepads. Dr. Jones was the first Black partner in a Wall Street brokerage on the New York Stock Exchange, the principal owner and publisher of The New York Amsterdam News (the nation’s largest Black community-based newspaper), a co-owner of the radio station WLIB-AM in Harlem, a university professor and the author of several books on civil rights. Dr. Jones was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Joe Biden in 2024.
I love you, Clarence, and until we meet again 💔
(Thank you to New York Times reporter Robert D. McFadden for the beautiful obituary)
